About
Our tools are not neutral. Behind every cloud provider, SaaS, framework or AI model there are companies, owners, leaders and investors, and some of them use their money and platforms to push racism, antisemitism, LGBTphobia, hatred of immigrants and support for the far right. Follow the Stack shows who is behind your stack, and what they have documentedly said and done.
Three kinds of links
- You pay. Your money goes to this company.
- Your data. You entrust this company with your or your users’ data.
- You depend. You don’t pay, but you rely on a project this organisation controls.
Rules
- Facts only. Every fact carries the exact quote when there is one, the date, and at least one reliable source.
- A grievance qualifies a documented fact, never a person. We show what was said or done; you draw your conclusions.
- Organisations and public figures only. We never document private individuals, including open source maintainers.
- Disputed facts are marked as contested, and denials or responses are published next to the fact.
- Your stack never leaves your browser. No backend, no tracker, no cookie.

Contribute or correct
Use the contribution form to report a fact, add a product or request a correction: it opens a pre-filled issue on GitHub that you review and submit yourself. Sources are mandatory and every contribution is reviewed by a human. If you are the subject of a fact, you can use the same form to dispute it or add your response.
Why GitHub?
